On March 21, International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, communities around the world will recommit to dignity, equity, and shared humanity through song: gathering across differences to affirm that every person should have the right to belong.
Justice for Migrant Women launched the Sing-In for Unity to bring communities together. As part of this effort, we are hosting a local event in Fremont, Ohio, where our headquarters are located, in partnership with the Cristo Rey Center, Hands of Our Future, Fremont NAACP, and People for Peace and Justice. We are also grateful to our national partners — Hispanic Heritage Foundation, Kairos Center, Red Wine and Blue Education Fund, and Undivided — for their support and collaboration.
A Sing-In is an invitation — to show up, to be heard, and to build power together. Many incredible groups and organizations, dating back to the U.S. civil rights movement, have planned sing-ins to promote causes, unity, and community.
A Sing-In is more than a moment. It is community power in motion.

Plan a free, family-friendly gathering.

Join local music-lovers, music groups, and soloists in songs that center culture and foster collective care.

Individuals, organizations, and community groups are invited to host their own Sing-In for Unity to mark our commitment to eradicating racial discrimination and hate. Together, we will spread love through music and community.
Use our toolkit to plan a local house party or gathering, and replicate this collective power shift on March 21.
Be sure to register your Sing-In and join our national community.
